Open Settings → Notification settings → Email setup in the product. Enter the SMTP details from your email provider (host, port, encryption, username and password) and a "from" address on your own domain. Then use Test email to send yourself a message. If test emails land in spam, add SPF and DKIM records for your domain at your DNS provider.
